Capabilities

Enabled by our continuous double belt press technology (CDBP) and a team of talented materials scientists and developers, Interfacial’s Engineered Substrates division produces custom engineered composite substrates for an elite set of customers.  These include well-known names in the flooring, building & construction, transportation and other markets.  Our Engineered Substrates Division has state of the art manufacturing equipment and processes that enable flexible and responsive manufacturing for Interfacial’s customers desiring novel plastic composite substrates.  Our Continuous Double Belt Press (CDBP) allows us to develop and scale up production of substrates from samples to truckload quantities for customers with larger scale market applications.

Over the past five years, our Engineered Substrates Division has occupied 20,000 sq. ft. in River Falls, Wisconsin while steadily growing, and has invested significantly in additional equipment and capacity to meet our customers’ growing demand.  Like all of Interfacial’s divisions and the company as a whole, this division boasts a talented team of engineers, operators and support staff who work effectively as a team to manufacture and deliver best-in-class plastic composite sheet.
