“Technology behind the Technology”

This patent pending technology involves a product by process methodology using a continuous double belt press.  The key to the technology involves a method to uniformly scatter and consolidate recycled plastic feedstocks within a continuous non-woven fiber mat.  By processing these materials using a continuous double belt press process, it is possible to make a sheet substrate with exceptional mechanical properties and outstanding dimensional stability.  For example, when recycled low density polyethylene is processed using this methodology, a 10X improvement in dimensional stability is achieved.

Featured Markets and Applications

The resulting substrates produced using this novel combination of materials and manufacturing process have found utility in several applications in the building & construction and transportation markets.  For example, these substrates have demonstrated their commercial value and are currently sold into cargo van flooring and acoustic panel applications.  The technology has also shown extreme promise in RV sidewall and flooring applications.
